Southport Records joins forces with its West Coast sister label, Asian Improv for the release of "A Symphony of Cities."
These series of improvised and composed selections depict a merging of urban and rural cultures,
a blurring of social and musical forces.
Famoudou Don Moye, artist/drummer/percussionist/poet and member of The Art Ensemble of Chicago and
AACM in Chicago collaborates with Tatsu Aoki, bassist/composer/arranger and international producer.
Guests to expand the intimate duo settings include Francis Wong on tenor sax, and Joel Brandon with
